India-Afghanistan reiterate terrorism and extremism poses threat

India and Afghanistan have reiterated that terrorism and extremism pose a threat not only to the two countries but to the region and the world at large. The two sides strongly condemned the terror attack in Kabul city on 13th of September. The Foreign Secretary Mr. Ranjan Mathai who led a delegation to Kabul to hold foreign office consultations discussed regional and global issues is Afghan leadership. During his discussions, the two sides expressed continued commitment to the strategic partnership to enhance regional cooperation. Mr. Mathai met the President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai and other leaders during his three day visit to that country.
