India has achieved a significant recognition in global radio therapy cancer treatment. Mentioning about this in the Rajya Sabha today, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Jitendra Singh informed the Members that there has been a continuous increase in facilities for cancer care by radiation oncology. <br/><br/>The latest radiation facilities have advanced techniques for radiotherapy treatment of cancer. The Atomic Energy Department and its units have made excellent progress in developing radiation oncology at par with the best in the world. <br/><br/>India is providing specialised cost effective radiotherapy solutions to all member countries of the International Atomic Energy Agency also, IAEA, he said. <br/>
