Chief of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde today said that India is a bright spot in the global economy. She said, the growth of the Indian growth will pick up to 7.2 per cent in this fiscal. Speaking at the function in New Delhi, Ms Lagarde said, the size of Indian economy will double by 2019. The IMF chief is on a two-day visit to India that began today. She said, as many countries are battling with low growth, India has been marching in the opposite direction. Ms Lagarde said, the recent policy reforms announced by the government have given a boost to India's business climate. She added that by 2030, India is expected to have the largest labour force in the world.
