The hosts lost wickets of Abhinav Mukund on Duck and Cheteshwar Pujara on 17 in the first session. Earlier, India skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat. Australia have named an unchanged XI, while India have brought in Abhinav Mukund and Karun Nair. India are currently trailing 1-0 in the four match test series against Australia.
