India were 319 for 6 on the first day of second cricket test against hosts Sri Lanka at Colombo. Opener Lokesh Rahul hit 108 runs while Rohit Sharma 79 and Virat Kohli 78 as India recovered from a shaky start. They had lost two wickets only for 12 in the fifth over itself as opener Murali Vijay out for a duck and Ajinkya Rahane could make four only. Stuart Binny as an all-rounder did not click and was out for a peltry score of 10. India got a shock on the last ball of the day as well when Rohit Sharma lost his wicket. Wriddhiman Saha was holding the other end to start the battle tomorrow with another partner who will join in the morning. This is the penultimate Test of the 3-match series. Veteran wicket keeper-batsman Kumara Sangakkara will retire from international cricket after this game.
