India 307 for one at Tea

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Indian were 307 for one at Tea adding 176 runs in between Lunch and Tea session. Sehwag was the only wicket to fall but not before he scored a brisk century. Gambhir brought up his 4th ton in as many tests and is still looking good while Dravid has also continued his good form. SL need a heap of wickets in the next session to get back into this.This is the first time in the Test history of India that it scored more than 300 runs before tea. The Indian openers also broke their first wicket earlier stand of 218 against South Africa besides overtaking the 304 the highest score at Green Park in a day when at Tea the score stood at 307 for one. India made two changes from their first Test playing eleven, bringing in S Sreesanth in place of Ishant Sharma and left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha for Amit Mishra.
