India 3 wickets away from winning first Test against NZ

India were just three wickets away from winning the opening Test against New Zealand after they reduced the visitors to 205 for 7 at lunch on the fifth day at Green Park today. This is India's 500th cricket Test match. Mitchell Santner at 57 and Ish Sodhi at 2 were at the crease at lunch with New Zealand still requiring another 235 runs with 3 wickets remaining. New Zealand resumed at their overnight score of 93 for 4 in their 2nd innings against India.Hosts declared their second inning at 377 runs for 5 wickets yesterday. Earlier New Zealand were all out for 262.In the first innings, hosts were all out for 318.
