The Indians looked set to build towards a substantial lead when Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara were at the crease yesterday, but post-tea the hosts lost three wickets for only eight runs. Earlier, England made 283 in their first innings. Fast bowler Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets while Umesh Yadav, Jayant Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja claimed two wickets each.The hosts are currently leading the five Test series, 1-nil. They had won the last game at Visakhapatnam by 246 runs. The first Test had ended in a draw.
