India 212/3 at tea in 2nd test against Windies

On Day one of the second cricket test at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata, hosts India were 212 for 3 in the first innings against the West Indies, at tea. Rahul Dravid on 62 and VVS Laxman on 1 were at the crease.Earlier after electing to bat, India got off to a brilliant start, with both the openers, Sehwag and Gambhir taking the home side's score to 50 in the 10th over itself. Virender Sehwag's wicket was the only cheer for the visitors in the pre-lunch session.Resuming the play after lunch, India lost its second wicket in the form of Gautam Gambhir, who scored a handy 65.A little while later, Master Blaster Sachin was caught on 38, yet again failing to break the jinx of his 100th international century.India are currently leading the 3-match series 1-0. They had defeated the West Indies by 5 wickets in the first test at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in New Delhi.
