India were 140 for the loss of three wickets in their first innings, at close on day three, of the rain hit first test match against Sri Lanka at Galle. Laxman 18 were batting.Earlier, tailenders Rangana Herath 80 not out and Lasith Malinga 64 combined to put Sri Lanka in a commanding position as the hosts declared their first innings at 520 for eight.Indian pacers Abhimanyu Mithun took four wickets and Ishant Sharma claimed three.
