After winning the toss and electing to bat, Indian were 131 for no loss in 26 overs at luncha gainst Sri Lanka in the second cricket Test in Kanpur when reports last came in. This is seventh 100 run partnership between the two openers. Virendra Sehwag is playing at 70 while Gautam Gambhir is batting at 59. It may be recalled that earlier also, whenever these openers scored 100 runs, India never lost the match.
