The Commmonwealth Games chief Michael Fennell has appointed an independent panel to monitor the Delhi 2010 Games progress so that it meets all new deadlines. This follows his 5-day visit to various venues where construction is in progress. Mr. Fennel said, there is no plan B to shift the Games venue from Delhi. He however, stressed the importance of every single day being pivotal and every hour vital. Mr. Fennel was addressing a press conference in New Delhi. Mr Fennell said the CGF feels that the venues will be ready in time. He, however, cautioned against any more slippages.
