In Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Singh, an independent MLA from Raebarely constituency has joined Peace Party. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that MLA has also merged his political outfit Akhil Bhartiya Congress Dal with Peace Party in presence of Peace Party's supremo Dr Ayub in Lucknow . Akhilesh Singh said that he had zeroed in on Peace Party as it was the only party pursuing the agenda of poor and downtrodden in present political scene. Akhilesh owns considerable clout in Raebarely and adjoining areas.
