Ahead of the Independence Day, a full dress rehearsal will be held today at the Red Fort. The rehearsal will have the same traffic restrictions as on Independence Day. Roads will be closed for general traffic from 5.00 AM to 9.00 AM and only labeled vehicles will be permitted. <br/><br/>Delhi traffic police in it's advisory has said, vehicles without parking labels for the rehearsal need to avoid Tilak Marg, Mathura Road and Ring Road between Nizamuddin Bridge and ISBT bridge and take alternative route. Movement of goods vehicles between Nizamuddin Bridge and Wazirabad bridge is prohibited from midnight last night till 11 am today. Metro services will be as usual. <br/><br/>However boarding and de-boarding at Red Fort and Jama Masjid Metro Stations of Violet line is not allowed after 6.30 AM till rehearsal. General public may use Delhi Metro and reach at Delhi Gate, Chandni Chowk or Kashmere Gate Metro Station to further reach Red Fort.<br/><br/>
