In Haryana, indefinite curfew was clamped in Hisar today after a large number of agitators demanding OBC reservation for Jat community damaged public property and set on fire a bank and a petrol pump. The agitation spread all over Haryana and took a violent turn after killing of a youth in police firing at Maiyyar village in Hisar district yesterday. The protestors have jammed Bhiwani-Chandigarh, Hisar-Chandigarh, Rohtak-Bahuakbar, Jind-Patiala, Loharu-Hisar, Loharu-Dadri national highways. The protestors have kept the body of the slain youth with them and demanding arrest of Superintendent of Police, Subash Yadav whom the government has shifted from Hisar and registered a case against him under section 302 of IPC. The Haryana Government has already ordered a magisterial inquiry into yesterday's incident.
