In Assam, indefinite curfew was clamped in Chirang district this evening after unidentified miscreants killed five persons. State Law and Order IGP L R Bishnoi said that the incident occurred at Chudhuri para area under Bijni Police station when they were returning from relief camps to their homes. Another person is reportedly missing. Security has been beefed up in the district following the incident.
