In women's cricket, India set a victory target of 256 runs for hosts Sri Lanka in the third and final Women's ODI being played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy. Put in to bat, the visitors scored 255 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Harmanpreet Kaur was the top scorer with 75 runs while Pooja Vastrakar gave a contribution of 56 not out and Shafali Verma added 49 runs.

The Indian team won the first two games in contrasting fashion to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The visitors had bagged the preceding T20I series 2-1.
