Ind vs AUS: Australia to resume first innings from overnight score of 40/0

In the Bengaluru Test, Australia will resume its first innings from overnight score of 40 for no loss on the second day, today, against India.India are looking for a change of luck in the series, but the fate from Pune test does not seem to leave the teams' side. On the first day, yesterday, batting first after winning the toss, hosts were bundled out for 189 in their first innings. In a bizzare batting flop, Captain Virat Kohli left a bowl hitting plumb, and then promptly asked for a review thus wasting it. None of the batsmen impressed except for local lad K L Rahul who put up a fight as he was the highest scorer with 90 runs. For baggy green Nathan Lyon took 8 wickets for 50 runs. His figures are now the best by any visiting bowler in India. Australian openers David Warner and Matt Renshaw are at the crease and gave a solid start, but India is itself to blame as they have dropped catches and have not made a breakthrough. If the visitors gain big lead today, they will push India to edge and the chances of winning the series will look gloomy. India is currently trailing the four match test series against Australia, 1-0.
