In their post lunch session, India were 182 for 3 wickets against New Zealand on the opening day of the first cricket Test. The match is being played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.Sachin Tendulkar was clean bowled by Trent Boult soon after the play resumed post lunch. Openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir were sent back in close succession after giving India a steady start in the pre lunch session.Opening batsman Virender Sehwag lost his wicket after scoring fast 47 runs in 41 balls. He smashed nine boundaries before being caught by Martin Guptill at second slip off Bracewell in the 15th over in the innings. New Zealand pacer Trent Boult claimed the wicket of Gutam Gambhir, in his fifth over. Earlier, Indian Captain Mahender Singh Dhoni chose batting after winning toss in the first test of the two match series against Kiwis.
