He said, responsibility lies with the youth for bringing transformative changes in the country. He was addressing the participants of the National Youth Parliament Festival (NYPF) 2023 in Parliament Central Hall today. Highlighting the role of the youth in the socio-economic transformation, Mr. Birla said, the country's youth are playing a vital role in bringing transformative changes in the country and at the global stage.<br />''<br />''On this occasion, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said, the country's women are scaling new heights in every sector. He said, in the Khelo India Youth Games held in Madhya Pradesh, out of 25 national records, 19 were broken by the girls. He said, the country has also broken several records in various aspects.<br />''<br />''Mr. Thakur said, in 2014, the country was in the league of fragile five economies of the world and now the country has made a place in the top five economies of the world. As many as 85 participants from several States and Union Territories have participated in the National Youth Parliament Festival. The NYPF will be organised with the objective to hear the voice of youth aged between 18 and 25 years, who are allowed to vote but do not qualify as a candidate for election. It will also encourage the youth to engage with public issues and understand the common man's point of view.</span><br />
