Increased DTC fares to be effective from Wednesday

The increased passenger's fares of Delhi Transport Corporation buses in the national capital will come into force from tomorrow. The notification to this effect has been issued by Delhi government today. According to this, there will be three slabs of fare, of which the minimum fare of 3 rupees has been increased to 5 rupees, while 5 and 7 rupees tickets have been raised to 10 rupees and 10 rupees ticket will now cost 15 rupees in non-AC buses. Earlier, there were four slabs of the fare 3 rupees, 5, 7 and 10 rupees. In AC's buses, the slabs will be 10, 15 and 25 rupees. The student’s pass of Rs 12.50 rupees will now cost 100 rupees. <br/>
