Increased domestic production and reduced dependence on imports can help India be 5 trillion economy by 2024: Gadkari

In Madhya Pradesh, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari today said that the goal of making India a five trillion dollar economy by 2024 can be achieved by increasing domestic production and reducing dependence on imports. <br />'' <br />'' He was addressing the 29th International Management Conclave of the Indore Management Association in Indore.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Gadkari further added that strong political will is vitally important to achieve any goal. Manifesting the same will, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the goal of making the country a five trillion dollar economy.    <br />'' <br />'' Mentioning that our country has plenty of resources and production capacity, the Minister further said that we have to increase the domestic production of goods instead of importing them in order to achieve the target.     <br />''
