A new report from the International Trade Center says an increase in demand from luxury goods made from snakes skin is threatening the survival of some species of python.Half a million python skins are exported from south-east Asia annually but the researchers say many are illegal. They say the growing demand for handbags and other fashion items in Europe is fuelling imports.
