Minister of State for External Affairs General (Retd.) V K Singh has said that the attacks on India by Pakistan-based terrorists have increased recently. In reply to a question, he informed the Lok Sabha yesterday that the Government has been making efforts to get these terror networks and individuals banned by the United Nations. <br/><br/>General Singh said that several Pakistan-based terrorists like Hafiz Saeed and Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi, and entities including Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jamaat-ud-Dawaa under the UN Security Council's Resolution has been successfully pursued. <br/><br/>He said, the concerns regarding anti-India terrorism emanating from Pakistan have been taken up with international community and also bilaterally with Pakistan on a number of times. Replying to a separate question, General Singh said China is assisting Pakistan in developing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and some of the proposed projects under CPEC are in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. <br/><br/>He said, India's consistent position is that Pakistan has been illegally occupying parts of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir since 1947. The Minister said the government has conveyed to Chinese side, including at the highest level, its concerns about their activities and asked them to cease these activities.
