The Income Tax department is conducting raids at the premises of several top bureaucrats across Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. <br/><br/>Raids are on at over a dozen places in Lucknow, Meerut, Baghpat, Noida, Ghaziabad and also in Delhi. Official sources said, the raids are being conducted following complaints of corruption and disproportionate assets charges.<br/><br/>The searches were conducted at the residence and official premises of Hriday Shankar Tiwari, Director (Health); Additional CEO Greater NOIDA, Vimal Sharma; his wife Mamta Sharma, who is Road Transport Officer in Meerut; and Satyendra Kumar Singh, Special Secretary prison.
