Official sources said that 2 lakh 20 thousand people are affected by floods in 13 districts. Flood water also submerged crop fields, roads and breached embankments. Around 40 percent of the Kaziranga national park is also submerged due to floods. However the Director of the park said that the situation is not alarming .
