<span style="color: #222222;">In Arunachal Pradesh, landslides and flash floods triggered by incessant rain for the last few days have left trails of large-scale devastation in the entire state. In the Capital City Itanagar, a minor girl lost her life in a landslide due to heavy downpour at Donyi Colony this morning. Chief Minister Pema Khandu has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the incident. He announced immediate release of ex-gratia of 4 lakh rupees to the family of the deceased.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In East Siang District, the Mirem-Mikong-Ruksin road communication under Ruksin subdivision has been disrupted, as about thirty feet approach road of the bridge over Sille River was washed away by flooding water yesterday. The restoration work of the road is underway. The Mighty River Siang and its tributaries are also reported to be flowing above danger level at some points. East Siang District Administration has issued advisories for the general people to stay away from the bank of the rivers.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />''  

Incessant rain has created havoc in Arunachal Pradesh and thrown normal life out of gear. Landslides and flash floods have been reported from throughout the state. Major rivers and streams are flowing above the danger level and posing a threat to those living in low-lying areas. The state government has deployed emergency response team and NDRF across the state to tackle situations. <br/><br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that in Itanagar, a huge landslide along NH 415 near Civil Secretariat has disrupted road communication within the city. Traffic has been diverted through a different route. Bagkhar circle in Tawang district has been completely cut-off from the rest of the world. <br/><br/><br/>The surface communication to the circle was disrupted after a large portion of the link road between Bomja and Kharung was washed away due to landslide triggered by heavy rain. In West Siang District sudden rise in the water level of Yumgo River has washed away many structures and standing crops in the low laying areas. MeT department has alerted of more rains in the state.<br/>

The surface communication to the circle was disrupted after a large portion of the link road between Bomja and Kharung was washed away due to landslide. Flash floods have also damaged paddy fields and other agricultural lands in the district. <br/><br/>In East Siang District, the Sikh River is flowing above danger level. The river is posing serious threat to the Mebo township, as the bridge over the river, along NH 52, is facing huge erosion caused by the flood water.<br/><br/>The state government has deployed emergency response team and NDRF across the state to tackle situations.<br/><br/>The MeT department has forecast more rains in the state. Last week, an Indian Air Force helicopter crashed in Papum Pare district while rescuing people stranded in landslides. All the 4 passengers on-board were killed in the accident.<br/>
