In Madhya Pradesh, normal life has been affected in several places due to incessant rain. AIR Bhopal correspondent reports that three children were swept away in a local stream in Guna district. Monsoon is active in most parts of the state. People are facing problems in Vidisha, Guna, Ashoknagar, Mandla, Sidhi and several other places due to incessant rains. Flood water has entered in villages in some places and road connectivity has also been interrupted. In capital Bhopal quantum of rain in the month of June has broken a decade long record. According to the Met department, several parts of east, north and west Madhya Pradesh are likely to receive moderate to heavy rains in the next 12 hours.
