In West Bengal, a man was arrested from Suri in Birbhum district today by a Delhi Police team in connection with a narcotics racket. <br/> <br/>Birbum superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar said the accused Samir Mallik was arrested from his residence by a Delhi police team, who were accompanied by the state police.<br/> <br/>He refused to divulge any further details because of reasons relating to investigation. The arrested man is suspected to be an accomplice of the main accused, who had been picked up in Delhi few days back in connection with banned narcotic substances racket. <br/><br/>He hailed from Pandbeswar area of Birbhum's neighbouring Burdwan district, they said. Mallik will be taken on transit remand to Delhi.
