Russian President Vladimir Putin has banned or curbed agricultural imports from countries imposing sanctions on Russia over the crisis in Ukraine. In a decree, he ordered the measures, which also apply to food imports, to be introduced for one year. Meanwhile, renewed fighting in eastern Ukraine has forced the suspension of a search for the remains of the victims of crashed flight MH17. The attack on the jet has heightened tensions between Russia and the West.
