In Sikkim, Long Range Relay Patrol Team of ITBP was flaggs off from Nathula

In Sikkim, a sixteen member, Long Range Relay Patrol Team of Indo-Tibetan Border Police ‘ITBP’ was flagged off from Nathula, at a height of about 14,500 feet on the Indo-China border. The Relay Patrol had reached the snow-clad Nathula on Thursday. It was flagged off from Kibithu in Arunachal Pradesh on the 14th February last. Our Gangtok correspondent reports that the Long Range Relay Patrol will leave Sikkim for Uttrakhand on the fifth of May and will culminate at Leh in Ladakh on the 17th September. The event marks the Golden Jubilee Year of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police.
