In Manipur, five militants and two civilians have been killed in a gun battle between underground outfits at Haochong Village under Nungba Police Station in Tamenglong District during the last 24 hours. Police sources said, the incident took place when National SocialistCouncil of Nagaland-Khaplang and Zeliangrong United Front cadres were attacked suddenly by National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Isaac Muivah cadres at Haochong Village at aound 2:30 in the early morning yesterday.Four militants and two civilians got killed on the spot. Later, Police also recovered another body this morning from the area.
