In a joint operation, police and Border Security Force have seized 22.5 kg heroin, worth 110 crore rupees in the market and arrested three persons. Amar Singh Chahal, DIG, Ferozepur Range said police had received a tip off that a notorious smuggler is going to receive a huge consignment of drugs near the border area in Ferozepur. He said, subsequently, a joint team of BSF and Police was constituted which arrested the accused at a naka laid near village Gatti Rajo Ke and 22.5 kg heroin was recovered from him.
