In Incheon Asian games, Indian Women's Kabaddi team wins Gold defeating Iran; Men's team also to meet Iran in the finals today

Maintaining their supremacy in Kabaddi at the Asiad, India bagged a Gold Medal this morning on the penultimate day of the Incheon Games. The Indian eves defeated Iran, 31-21 to bag their second successive Gold at the Asian Games. Women's Kabaddi had started in the last edition of the Games in Guangzhou, which saw India taking home the top medal. Today's was India's 10th medal of Incheon Games, which has helped them climb to the 7th spot.India now have 10 Gold, 9 Silver and 37 Bronze in their kitty. The Men's Kabaddi team will also meet Iran, later today for a place at the top of the podium. Even they have a defeat less record at the Asian Games. Since the sport's inception in 1990, they have been the Champions at this event. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary on the Men's Final from 8:55 AM onwards on the Rajdhani and FM Gold channels.In other events scheduled for today, in Taekwondo, Shaloo Raikwar and Maria Regi will play for a semi-final berth of their respective categories.In Volleyball, the Indian Men's team will take on Qatar in the 5th-6th-position match.China is at the top of the medals tally, with 142 Gold, 101 Silver and 79 Bronze. Korea is second, and Japan third.
