In Incheon Asian games, Indian Women's Kabaddi team wins Gold defeating Iran; Men's team also to meet Iran in the finals today

On the penultimate day of the Incheon Asian Games, the Indian Women's Kabaddi team bagged a Gold, a short while ago. In the Finals, they defeated Iran, 31-21 to bag their second successive Gold at the Asian Games. Women's Kabaddi started in the last edition of the Games in Guangzhou, which saw India taking home the Gold. Today's was India's 10th medal of Incheon Games, which has helped them climb to the 7th spot. India now have 10 Gold, 9 Silver and 37 Bronze.The Men's Kabaddi team will also meet Iran, later today for a place at the top of the podium. Since the sport's inception in 1990, the Indian Men have been the Champions at the Asian Games.In other events today, in Taekwondo, Shaloo Raikwar and Maria Regi will play for a semi-final berth of their respective categories.In Volleyball, the Indian Men's team will take on Qatar in the 5th-6th-position match.China is at the top of the medals tally, with 142 Gold, 101 Silver and 79 Bronze. Korea is second, and Japan third.
