Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharamendra Pradhan today called upon all energy experts to come out of their sectoral biases and positively contribute in creating a comprehensive future energy roadmap. Addressing a function in New Delhi, Mr Pradhan said, in a diverse country like India, challenges in energy sector are also unique. <br/><br/>He said, India now consumes only six per cent of world's energy which will go up to 25 per cent in next 15-20 years. The Minister said, if electricity was a finding in second industrial revolution, it is only after 70 years of independence that electricity is being made available in 18 thousand villages of the nation. He said policy formulation process has to be dynamic as well as participatory in the current scenario. <br/>'<br/>Later in another event, the Minister witnessed signing of tripartite MoU between National Skill Development Corporation, Air BNB and Tourism and Hospitality skill Council in New Delhi. The MoU is aimed at providing better lodging and living facilities to the tourists.
