In Bihar, Azharuddin Beg alias Laddan Mian, main accused in the senior journalist Rajdeo Ranjan, murder case surrendered before a local court of Siwan today.<br/><br/>Laddan Mian, who had been evading arrest since the gruesome killing of Rajdeo Ranjan, Siwan district Bureau Chief of a leading Hindi daily on May 13, surrendered before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Arvind Kumar, which remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days.<br/><br/>Laddan Mian had allegedly given contract to 5 persons to eliminate the journalist. After the arrest of shooter Rohit Kumar and 4 others the name of Laddan Mian was surfaced as a main conspirator.<br/><br/>Laddan Mian is considered to be a close aide of former MP and jailed RJD leader Mohammad Sahabuddin.
