In Bihar, five people drowned when a boat capsized midstream in the river Kosi under Madhepur police station today. The boat was ferrying at least 30 labourers, who were going to bring fodder for their cattle. Official sources said that five bodies have been fished out of the river. The ill-fated boat lost its balance due to high current and capsized.
