In Athletics, India bagged Silver and a Bronze medal in the second leg of the Asian Grand Prix at Kunshan in China. Middle distance runner Ghamanda Ram finished second in the men's 800 metre race, behind Gold-medalist Sajad Moradi of Iran on Thursday. Ram clocked 1 minute 48.17 seconds while Asian Games Gold Medalist Sajad Moradi clocked 1 minute 47.95 seconds. The second Indian in the fray, Sajeesh Joseph finished fourth.In women's discus throw, Seema Antil clinched yet another Bronze medal after finishing third in the first leg. Her throw recorded 50.64 metres, well below her national record of 64.64. Chinese throwers occupied the first two spots with Yang Fei winning the Gold (59.26 metres) and Lin Xiaojing bagging the Silver (53.55 metres).
