Implementation of PM’s package in J & K is a collective responsibility: Chavan

Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), All India Congress Committee General Secretary and in charge Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana States of the party, Prithvi Raj Chavan, has said that the under Prime Minister’s package for J&K, a large number of projects in power, tourism, road infrastructure, education and other sectors have been launched. He said Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh himself was taking review of these projects for which he had offered huge funds to this State. He said it should be collective responsibility of all in the coalition Government to implement the PM’s package and if this is implemented in true spirit, J&K would become a model and most prosperous State in the country. AIR correspondent reports that sending a strong and clear message to all in the rank and file of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee on the 125th Foundation Day function of the Party at Jammu on Monday, Mr Chavan said it is collective responsibility of all to strengthen Congress. He said there may be some differences but they should be resolved through talks or sunk in the party interests. He added that a strong message should go that Congress is united".<br/><br/> <br/>
