Government has said that implementation of goods and services tax by April next year is feasible.Addressing a function in New Delhi today, Revenue Secretary Shakti Kanta Das said that negotiations with states on GST entered a critical stage and the Centre is looking forward to implement the new indirect tax regime from April next year.Mr Das added that the Centre has given an alternative formulation to states against their demand for keeping certain products out of GST.
