The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Ms. Jayalalitha has said that the Tamil Nadu Government would implement the Uniform School Syllebus immediately as per the Supreme Court decision. The Chief Minister intervened in the debate on the revised budget in the state Assembly today. DMK President, Mr. M.Karunanidhi welcomed the Supreme Court decision. CPI Secretary Tha Pandian and CPM Secretary T.Ramakrishnan have also welcomed the decision and have appealed to the State Government to implement the Uniform School Syllebus. The Chief Minister had told the Assembly yesterday that the State Government would abide by the decision of the Supreme Court on this issue.
