Educationists and experts today strongly advocated to implement the reports of S.B. Chavan Committee and Kothari Commission to inculcate a value-based education in the country. In the two-day conclave, that began in New Delhi today, they charged the successive governments of ignorning these reprots so far. Inaugurating the conclave organised by Shri Satyasai Foundation, the Chairman of Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Dr. Karan Singh highlighted the importance of value education and brought to the fore the concerns on climate change. Former Secretary (Education), Mr. M.K. Kaw in his key note address disclosed that an action group will be constituted after thhe deliberations for follow up actions. Educationists, educational administrators, Professors, Vice Chancellers and others are participating in the conclave.
