<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan has said that Manipur capital, Imphal will have a full-fledged Regional Office of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) by the beginning of the next year. Mr. Paswan is on a two-day visit to Manipur.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking to media persons in Imphal last evening, Mr. Paswan said, around 87 per cent of the total population of the state is in the zone of targeted beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA). The Minister said, in the last five years, there is no increase in the price of food grains provided to the beneficiaries of NFSA.
