The President Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil has said that North-East region of the country holds immense development potential. <br/><br/>Addressing the 175th annicersary of Assam Rifles in New Delhi today, Mrs Patil said that every efforts must be made to ensure that the goal of development is realised. <br/><br/>She said, construction of good physical infrastructure as well as enhancing capacity of the people through education and skill building are tasks of high priority. She also released a commomorative stamp on the occasion.<br/>
