Centre has announced 1.5 Lakh rupees as a reward for each player of the National Hockey team that recently won the Asian Champions trophy. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, the Sports Minister Ajay Makan said that government will give Twenty-Five Lakhs to each player if the team continues to bring such laurels in Olympics. He added that players deserve these rewards for their outstanding performance and the government is not doing any charity.
