The Indian rupee was up 12 paise at 45 rupees 10 paise against the US dollar in early trade today. This is in line with a sustained rally in the domestic equity market.The local unit opened slightly lower at 45 rupees 24 paise per dollar on the Interbank Foreign Exchange, as against yesterday's close of 45 rupee 23 paise per dollar.
