The International Monetary Fund will hold a conference in South Korea next month to find the common goal of Asia's economy and highlight its future role in the world's economy.The conference, Asia 21: Leading the Way Forward will be held on the 12th and 13th of next month in Daejeon in cooperation with the South Korean government.IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn will deliver an opening speech for the event. Finance ministers, central bank governors and high-ranking officials from governments, academia and civic groups from Asian countries are also likely to attend the two-day gathering. They will have a chance to share experiences of Asian countries in achieving marked economic development and try to produce a consensus on their future role in the changing global economic landscape.
