IMF Chief hopes India would be able to implement a series of critically important economic reforms

IMF Chief Christine Lagarde has hoped that India would be able to implement a series of critically important economic reforms for unleashing the country's growth potential. Speaking at the University of Maryland in Washington DC Friday, she said the IMF growth forecast for the country hovers around 7.5 per cent for the 2016-17 fiscal.Noting India as benefiting from the lower oil prices, the IMF Chief added that India is way ahead among the emerging countries.
