Monthly rainfall over the country as a whole during February is also most likely to be above normal. Normal to above normal rainfall is likely over most parts of Northwest, Northeast, and Central India. The below normal rainfall is likely over most parts of South peninsular India.</span> </p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />”</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Rain and snow occurred at most places over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and at many places over Himachal Pradesh today. Indian Meteorological Department said rain and thundershowers occurred at many places over Punjab and isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh, and West Rajasthan. Delhi too witnessed a spell of rain in the afternoon. </p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />”</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Meteorological department said dense to very dense fog occurred at most places over Delhi and a few places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh. Cold day to severe cold days occurred at isolated places over Haryana. Ground Frost occurred at isolated places over Uttarakhand. The Lowest Minimum temperature observed in the plains of Northwest India was 6.6 degrees Celsius recorded at Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />”</p>”<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The Department said weather is likely to be dry over North-west India in the next two days.</span></p>
